My refuge is my dream house, which, for now, is just in my mind. It’s right in the middle of nature, with a huge garden, with a pond and paths and lots of plants, trees and flowers.

Any destination you might have for your dream house, just follow some simple rules:

In a world invaded with modernism, a simple wooden house with a simple paint, colored door and windows and curtains in tone with the wood of the house would calm everyone.
Your house and garden would be more relaxing with a lot of green. Just combine the paved areas with the grass and plants.
The color harmony is the key. The floors, the ceramic or wooden flower pots, the garden furniture and the pillows are all great in ground tones.
In a small space you can place a table and two chairs where you can drink your coffee in the morning or just sit and relax.
You can place most of the flowers in pots because they are easier to maintain.

Choose the room with the best light

A kid needs a room to be only his own. The lightning is very important too. During the day, try to provide as much as it’s possible natural light, and use the bulb (or any other source of artificial light) only at night. Remember that your little one’s room has to be the most light full in the entire house. Also, the walls need to be wallpapered or treated with washable dye and painted in discreet colors. About choosing the right color, or wallpaper, ask him his opinion to find out the “client’s” preferences.

Make sure the temperature stays between 64-68 F (18-20 C) degrees

The desk needs to be positioned next to the window, in a way that light comes from the left side and avoid creating shadows on the books or notebooks.

Make sure he get the most quiet room

In order to grow healthy, your kid needs a lot of sleep. Try to give him the most peaceful and protected room in the house, away from all the noise, capable to provide the right environment for study and restful sleep that he needs. Let him sleep alone, and even he won’t like this, try to convince him to sleep with no lamp light.

It is told that everybody loves kids. Who doesn’t like kids, it’s probably because they drool, and poo and spit their food. I personally don’t like kids for the reasons I mentioned. Once they past that disgusting period, I start to like them. For certain reasons, of course: they tell things that you wouldn’t expect from a small creature like that. Things that you discovered so recent in your .. 20, 30, 40 years of life.

But once they know they can get your attention by saying a lot of things, that you mind find interesting, they won’t stop. FOR NOTHING!!! They will talk with you all day long. They will ask you questions about tv producers, how they were made, the difference between girls and boys etc. You’ll buy them a lot of toys to keep them occupied, but it won’t last for long: soon they’ll ask you how the toys were made and why the soldiers are green and why boys wear blue and girls pink.

I found recently that a good way to keep them occupied, for a longer time, is to install them a swingset. If you have a garden and you can set up a small space for your kid, go to a playground equipment store, or consider viewing an online store, where you can choose from a large number of swing sets: porch swing, stand up swings, gliders, buoy ball swings. If you don’t have the necessary budget, you can do one yourself: get an old tire, hook it up to a large branch with a solid chain and there you go: you just made a tire swing.

If you get jealous with your kids, don’t worry, you can always find bigger ones for adults.Similar Posts:
