My refuge

My refuge is my dream house, which, for now, is just in my mind. It’s right in the middle of nature, with a huge garden, with a pond and paths and lots of plants, trees and flowers.

Any destination you might have for your dream house, just follow some simple rules:

• In a world invaded with modernism, a simple wooden house with a simple paint, colored door and windows and curtains in tone with the wood of the house would calm everyone.
• Your house and garden would be more relaxing with a lot of green. Just combine the paved areas with the grass and plants.
• The color harmony is the key. The floors, the ceramic or wooden flower pots, the garden furniture and the pillows are all great in ground tones.
• In a small space you can place a table and two chairs where you can drink your coffee in the morning or just sit and relax.
• You can place most of the flowers in pots because they are easier to maintain.

This luxury yacht, property of Seabourn, it’s called Sojourn, and will be launched this June. Among others, it offers 225 luxury suites measuring 295 to 1,682 square feet, 90% with private verandas, four dining venues where you can find eclectic menus developed specifically for The Yachts of Seabourn by celebrity Chef Charlie Palmer, lounges, six bars and a spa.

The spa menu is very interesting. Here are some of the exclusive services it offers:

The length varies from 6 to 26+ days.

Someone pinch me. I’m in love! I just can’t stop looking and wondering at the pictures of this wonderful apartment remodeled by Zack|de Vito Architecture for a couple with an extensive collection of contemporary art in San Francisco’s Russian Hill neighborhood. Not only does it look great, but it also has a 3,400 sq. ft (about 1000 sq. meters) surface and is located on the 19th floor, so you can see the whole town.
